Biodiesel is a renewable, cheaper and cleaner burning alternative to mineral diesel.
At Biofuel Refineries Ltd we used waste vegetable oil sourced from the UK and therefore our biodiesel gives you the highest possible contribution to the environment.
Biodiesel has many advantages including reduction of harmful emissions such as carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, particulates and hydrocarbons. It also reduces atmospheric carbon dioxide which is one of the main greenhouse gases. It is made mainly from vegetable oils and it is a non-toxic, biodegradable fuel which is safer than mineral diesel.
No engine modification is required and in fact reduces engine wear due to its higher lubricity. It can be used in its pure form or blended with mineral diesel. Performance and fuel consumption characteristics are very similar to mineral diesel.
